We the present
shall

becomes yesterday.
From the banks of river Saraswati to the
corners of the world
we the Konkanis have excelled in every field,
without any hold
except in our
own mother tongue, our culture,
our identity,
a story better not be told
History is witness to the persecution of
Konkanis,
so that our
culture be destroyed.
But our ancestors held fort and triumphed.
But the present is helpless to stop
the mass exodus of Konkanis to alien
culture.
Who is persecuting whom.
Can there be a resurrection.
Can there be a Konkani renaissance.
Will a Mahatma
lead the Konkanis from the front.
The time is ripe.
The Weather
pleasant.
Winds of change are blowing.
Hal-chal si Machee hai
Konkani Jagat Mein.
The conk is blown, War cries are strong
Konkanis want to get back to
their roots.
A realization !
no better culture than ones own.
